WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible is the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.  The Bible is the absolute standard and final authority in the life of the believer.  2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12,13

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and the God the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary, that Jesus lived a sinless life and was crucified, buried, and raised again from the dead, that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.  John 1:1; Matthew 1:20,21; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23-25

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ as commanded by God for all.

Romans 3:24,25; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7

We believe that salvation and the new birth are by the grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the cross.  Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 5:20,21

We believe that all who repent should follow the Lord’s command, and be baptized, through faith in the blood of Jesus.  Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.  I Thessalonians 5:23; Romans 8:2,13

We believe that divine healing is provided for the believer through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is given to believers who ask for it.  Acts 1:5,8; Acts 2:4

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.  I Thessalonians 4:15-18; James 5:7,8; Acts 1:10,11

We believe in the existence of a literal Heaven and Hell.  2 Corinthians 5:1; Luke 15:7; Matthew 10:28

We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his or her life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission.  Matthew 28:18-20
